Afternoon:Check into Bomi
Morning:Wake up to a snowy mountain sunrise in Bomi. After breakfast, depart for the Bodui Zangbo River Valley to photograph the snow-capped peaks of East Nyainqêntanglha. Visit ancient temples at the foot of the mountains, offering a distant view of Zhuxi Glacier – China’s "Most Beautiful Maritime Glacier" at the southeastern tip of the Nyainqêntanglha Mountains. Among Bomi’s famous glaciers, Zhuxi is often overlooked, but its landscape of farmland, streams, forests, villages, and glaciers creates a paradise-like scene. Hike to the glacier’s snout and lateral moraine, getting up close to this maritime glacier and touching the natural beauty formed over hundreds of millions of years.
Afternoon:Continue hiking back along the glacier to the trail end, then return to Bomi by vehicle.
Morning:head to Langqiu Glacier, Bomi’s No. 1 rated glacier, originating from the Gangri Garbo Snow Mountain on the south bank of the Palong Tsangpo. Larger in scale than the renowned Midui Glacier, the route from Bomi to Ranwu Lake offers views of multiple peaks in the Gangri Garbo Range. After leaving Bomi County, hike through the valley’s virgin forest to the glacier.
Reach the cross-section of Langqiu Glacier by winding up the mountain opposite the glacier – a fantastical hiking route. The roar of glacial meltwater streams fills the air, while colorful forests and white glaciers reflect in crystal-clear lakes, creating a fairyland scene.
Afternoon:arrive at Ranwu Lake, where the water is so clear that colorful pebbles and swimming fish are visible. The lake’s hues change magically under the soft sunlight and gentle breeze, glowing a deep blue. Spend time photographing and exploring here.
Morning:visit Laigu Glacier. In winter, when the river freezes, you can touch thousand-year-old blue ice up close. Locals often say, "If you can’t go to Antarctica, go to Laigu Glacier," highlighting its winter charm! The vast glacier group and unique blue ice formed over millennia are Laigu’s main attractions.
The highlight of the afternoon is the Yalong Glacier Hike – the most spectacular glacier in the Laigu group, stretching 12 km from the 6,606m main peak of Gangri Garbo Mountain to 4,000m Gangri Garbo Lake. Its giant "3"-shaped ice tongue makes Yalong one of China’s few glaciers with excellent accessibility and stunning scenery. Today, you’ll not only overlook the glacier from above but also venture into its inner depths, walking on the ice and feeling nature’s wonder.
Afternoon:return to Bomi along National Highway 318.

Often shrouded in clouds, it’s also called the "Shy Maiden Peak." Arrive in Nyingchi in the evening.
