Complete formalities independently and gather at Gyirong Port. Cross the China-Nepal Friendship Bridge and drive 25 km into Gyirong, Tibet—known as the "Backyard of Everest." Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the route offers views of 4,680m Riwobanba Peak on the right and 7,227m Lantang Lirung Peak to the south. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize and prepare for the journey.

Morning: Venture into the depths of Gyirong Valley to visit Parabala Kang, a cliffside temple built over 1,300 years ago at the suggestion of Princess Bhrikuti of Nepal. Its exterior showcases typical Nepalese architectural style, while the interior follows Tibetan Buddhist traditions.

Afternoon: Explore Jibu Temple, where legend says the procession escorting Princess Bhrikuti (Songtsen Gampo’s Nepalese bride) parted ways with the Tibetan welcoming party—"Jibu" means "parting" in Tibetan. Traverse Jipu Canyon, lush with waterfalls and virgin forests.

Morning: Hike to Naicun Village, a "pasture in the clouds" embraced by five sacred mountains. Enjoy a leisurely walk as yak bells and Nepalese folk songs resonate in the valleys. At the viewing platform, face the Langtang snow mountain range and capture rare scenes of subtropical coniferous forests juxtaposed with snow peaks on the southern slope of the Himalayas.

Drive back to Gyirong Port and complete exit formalities for Nepal. En route, make a final stop at Kaira Waterfall, where legend says releasing lungta (windhorse prayers) ensures a safe journey.
