In the evening, a pre-ride briefing will be held, where staff will explain the route plan, vehicle debugging, and high-altitude riding precautions, followed by an ice-breaking session among riders.
Morning:ride north along National Highway 214 and tackle the first challenge: "the First Danger of the Yangtze River" – Tiger Leaping Gorge, the most precipitous section of the Jinsha River with a 2,000m altitude drop. Hike to Middle Tiger Leaping to feel the thundering waves crashing against the rocks.
Aafternoon:traverse Xiaozhongdian Flower Sea ("Plateau Pasture" in Shangri-La), where rhododendrons and gesang flowers bloom in summer (June–August), and the grassland turns red with wolfsbane in autumn. Arrive at "Moonlight City" Shangri-La in the evening and check into a hotel near Dukezong Ancient Town.
Morning:explore the millennium-old Dukezong Ancient Town, home to the world’s largest prayer wheel and a key hub of the Ancient Tea-Horse Road. The well-preserved Tibetan dwellings and stone paths require 12 people to jointly rotate the prayer wheel.
Afternoon:traverse Napahai (Yila Grassland), a seasonal plateau lake and wetland ecological reserve inhabited by rare birds like black-necked cranes. Experience pastoral life in Tibetan villages during the ride. Arrive at Feilai Temple at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain in the evening to await the view of the mountains.
Morning: head west along the Yunnan-Tibet Highway and cross the Yunnan-Tibet Border Arch to officially enter Tibet.Then arrive at the millennium-old Yanjing Salt Fields, China’s only site preserving primitive handcrafted salt production with a history of over 1,300 years. Visit the ancient salt village where Naxi and Tibetan communities coexist, witness the spectacle of manual salt drying by the Lancang River, and taste the local specialty "Yanjing Jiajia Noodles."
Afternoon:climb Lawu Mountain Pass (4,376m above sea level), the first high-altitude pass on the Yunnan-Tibet Highway, offering broad views of the Lancang River Gorge and terraced fields. Stay overnight in Mangkang County.
Afternoon:follow the river valley through Bangda Grassland and check into Zuo’gong County.
Afternoon:follow the Nujiang Grand Canyon and observe the Face-off (confrontation) of cliff walls on both sides; stay in Basu.
Afternoon:traverse the Palong Tsangpo Grand Canyon along the "Glacier Highway" and arrive at "Hometown of Glaciers" Bomi in the evening, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and virgin forests.

Afternoon:arrive in "Sunlight City" Lhasa in the afternoon. Hold a celebrati n dinner in the evening to share riding stories and check into a hotel near the Potala Palace.
Morning:visit the Potala Palace, Tibet’s most iconic landmark and an ancient palace-fortress-monastery complex. Next, explore the Thousand Buddha Cliff, with thousands of colorful, diverse Buddha statues carved into the cliff, dating back to the 7th century during Songtsen Gampo’s reign and expanded over successive dynasties.
Aternoon:visit the Jokhang Temple, home to the 12-year-old equally sized statue of Sakyamuni brought to Tibet by Princess Wencheng, a supremely sacred relic in Tibetan Buddhism. Witness devout pilgrims who traveled far to worship. Then, embark on a unique Barkhor Street Citywalk along the 1,300-year-old street, a "moving spiritual practice" alongside prostrating pilgrims.
Optional: Thangka/Tibetan Incense Experience (Take your pick) – learn the traditional craft of Tibetan incense making with cypress wood, musk, sandalwood, etc., or paint your own thangka under the guidance of an artist using mineral pigments and faith.
Morning:explore Drepung Monastery, the largest monastery of the Gelug Sect, founded in 1416 with a peak population of nearly 10,000 monks. Every Shoton Festival, a giant thangka is displayed here.
Afternoon:stroll through Norbulingka, Tibet’s largest and most scenic man-made garden with the most historical relics. Divided into three areas – palace, pre-palace, and forest – entering feels like stepping into a meticulously designed RPG game map of Tibet.
Morning:visit Zhaki Temple, Tibet’s only Temple of the God of Wealth (Temple of Wealth) and a branch of Sera Monastery (Gelug Sect). It is Tibet’s most efficacious temple for seeking prosperity. Bring white liquor and hada scarves to experience Tibetan blessing rituals of offering hada and Highland Barley Wine (highland barley wine).
Afternoon: watch debates at Sera Monastery, one of the six major Gelug Sect monasteries renowned for "Buddhist debates." Monks explore Dharma through body language and logical questioning, offering a window into Tibetan Buddhist culture.
Afternoon:Arrive in Shigatse, the major city of Rear Tibet, in the evening.
Morning: head to the long-awaited Mount Everest National Nature Reserve. En route through Lhatse, stop at Gyawu La Pass – if lucky, spot five snow mountains over 8,000m from left to right: Makalu, Lhotse, Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, and Shishapangma. Here, snow-clad peaks stretch as far as the eye can see, confronting visitors with the grandeur of the universe.
Afternoon: arrive at Everest Base Camp, take photos with the 8,848.86m Everest monument, and freely visit the Rongbuk Monastery, the world’s highest-altitude temple (many mountaineers consider it the best viewpoint for Everest). Visit the world’s highest-altitude themed post office beside the monastery to mail postcards. Check into a hotel/guesthouse at the appropriate time.
Morning:bid farewell to Everest and traverse the Shishapangma Nature Reserve via Peiku Tso, Tibet’s third-largest lake. Spot Tibetan wild asses and other wildlife, as well as holy mountain reflections in the water.
Afternoon:arrive at Gyirong, a border town with Nepal. After checking in, explore the Gyirong Port border market to experience Nepalese Tibetan culture and customs (flavors).
